Hi, I’m Carly!
I’m the heart behind Birth Your Way Lake Country. I’m a wife, mom of five, and lifelong Wisconsin girl. My husband, Max, and I both grew up in Lake Country, and after several years away, we found our way back home to raise our family. Today, life is full with our five kids, Tucker, Tatum, Margot, Crew, and Lane, and we feel incredibly lucky to be raising them right where we grew up.
Before becoming a birth doula, I spent eight years teaching high school history. It was through my own experiences with pregnancy, birth, and motherhood that I discovered a passion for supporting other women through this season of life. Having doula support during my own births showed me just how meaningful it can be to have someone there to encourage you, care for you, and help you feel confident in your choices.
I believe every family deserves to feel supported as they welcome their baby their way. Birth is a moment you carry with you forever, and it’s such a privilege to walk alongside families as they experience it for themselves. ♡
My Goals
At the heart of my work as a birth doula is a genuine love for caring for mothers and families as they prepare to welcome their babies. Birth is such a beautiful, life-changing experience, and I believe every family deserves to walk into it feeling safe, heard, supported, and confident, whatever their perfect birth looks like.
One of the sweetest parts of this work is getting to know you before your baby arrives. I want to know what you’re excited about, what you’re nervous about, what matters most to you, and what will help you feel most at ease. Every mother and every birth is different, so my support is never one-size-fits-all. I’m here to meet you where you are, bring a calm and reassuring presence, and remind you along the way that you can do this.
My hope is that you feel informed and empowered to make the choices that feel right for you and your family, knowing you have someone in your corner every step of the way. Being invited into such a tender and joyful chapter of a family’s story is something I’ll never take for granted. It’s truly an honor to help you welcome your baby into the world, your way.
